A local court in Hyderabad on Thursday sentenced Raju Naik to life imprisonment and imposed a Rs 16,000 fine for murdering P Ramesh in SR Nagar in 2020. Ramesh had gone missing after leaving his Vikaspuri Colony home.

Hyderabad: A local court on Thursday sentenced a man identified as Raju Naik to life imprisonment and imposed a total fine of Rs 16,000 for the murder of P. Ramesh (50) in SR Nagar in 2020.
Ramesh had gone missing after leaving his Vikaspuri Colony home on February 1, 2020.
Though a WhatsApp message was later sent from his phone, subsequent calls went unanswered and the phone was switched off.
The SR Nagar lolice investigated the case and subsequently arrested Raju Naik.
