A case has been registered against Mahesh Manikya, PRO of BRS working president K T Rama Rao, for allegedly obstructing police duties and violating restrictions at Bolarum. Police said he argued with an ACP when BRS leaders were stopped.

Hyderabad: A case has been registered against Mahesh Manikya, PRO of BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao, at Bolarum police station for allegedly obstructing police duties and violating restrictions imposed in view of law-and-order concerns.
According to police, the incident occurred on September 8, when BRS leaders were stopped when proceeding towards former Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao’s Erravalli farmhouse.
At the Bolaram check-post, Mahesh allegedly entered into an argument with Begumpet ACP Gopalakrishna Murthy.
Police alleged that Mahesh behaved aggressively, shouted at the ACP and obstructed officials from performing their duties.
A case was registered under Sections 132 and 223 of the BNS and being investigated.
