Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati mandal on Monday and sought the deity’s blessings. He was accompanied by his wife and son Jay Shah and also visited the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s residence and another Ganeshotsav mandal

Amit Shah visits Lalbaugcha Raja, seeks blessings

Mumbai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday visited the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati mandal and sought the deity’s blessings.

Shah visited the mandal with his wife and son Jay Shah, who is chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The Union Home Minister is known to visit the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati mandal every year.


He also visited ‘Varsha’, the official residence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, on the occasion of the Ganesh festival.

Shah also visited the Vandre Paschim Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal in Bandra West. Maharashtra minister and senior state BJP leader Ashish Shelar is the patron of the mandal.
