Satya Parthiv and Harsha Oruganti win AITA Under-16 singles titles

Satya Parthiv Chintaguta and Harsha Oruganti won the boys’ and girls’ singles titles respectively at the AITA National Series Under-16 tennis tournament at the Sania Mirza Tennis Academy. Maharashtra pair Ansh Ramani and Aarav Patel claimed the boys’ doubles crown

Hyderabad: Satya Parthiv Chintaguta and Harsha Oruganti won the boys’ and girls’ singles titles, respectively, in the AITA National Series (Under-16) tennis tournament at the Sania Mirza Tennis Academy here.

In the boys’ final, Satya Parthiv defeated Sujai Pothula 6-4, 2-6, 6-2, while Harsha scored a 6-1, 6-2 win over Aayushri Tarange in the girls’ final.

Ansh Ramani and Aarav Patel of Maharashtra won the boys’ doubles title, while Pooja Nagaraj and K. Ilaiynila of Karnataka received a walkover against Shaurya Patil of Madhya Pradesh and Vaidehi Shinde of Maharashtra in the girls’ doubles final.

Doubles: Ansh Ramani & Aarav Patel (Maha) bt Nikunj Khurana & Jeebu Siddharth (TG) 6-4, 6-4.

Singles: Harsha Oruganti bt Aayushri Tarange 6-1, 6-2.
Doubles: Pooja Nagaraj & K. Ilaiynila (Kar) w/o Shaurya Patil (MP) & Vaidehi Shinde (Maha).
