Medipally police have registered a case against a youth who allegedly threatened a private employee through Instagram and demanded Rs 5 lakh or sexual favours. The woman approached police after allegedly facing harassment over photographs reportedly posted on a dating app.

Hyderabad: The Medipally police have booked a youth for allegedly threatening a private employee through Instagram and demanding Rs 5 lakh or sexual favours.
The suspect, who is yet to be named, using the name ‘Rider Reddy,’ allegedly messaged the woman, claiming that her photos were available on a dating app and demanding Rs 5 lakh to remove them.
He also allegedly pressured her to fulfil his sexual demands. Unable to take the harassment, the woman approached the police, following which a case was registered and is being investigated.
