A 40-year-old farm labourer in Adilabad district allegedly died by suicide after battling severe back pain and neurological illness for several years. Police said the man was found hanging from a tree in Thamsi village on Sunday.

Adilabad: A farm labourer died allegedly by suicide by hanging himself from a tree as he was unable to bear a prolonged health crisis in Thamsi village on Sunday.
Police said that Bellapu Anil (40) was depressed after being diagnosed with severe back pain and neuro-related ailment for the past few years. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, and a son
Based on a complaint received from Anil’s wife, a case has been registered. Investigations are underway.
