Hyderabad: Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana, Vasam Venkateshwarlu Reddy on Saturday inspected hearing centres at Nagarjuna Community Hall and Government School, Yousufguda, as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.
Reddy reviewed the verification of unmapping and anomaly documents and arrangements for receiving and scrutinising documents submitted by electors. He also sought details about the disposal of cases while interacting with booth-level officers, supervisors and the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer, said a press release.
He directed election officials to assist electors during hearings, verify documents according to prescribed guidelines, maintain proper records and ensure timely disposal of cases. He also instructed officials to intensify awareness among electors, it added.
