Serilingampally recorded the highest number of demolitions at 81, followed by Quthbullapur and Kukatpally. The enforcement drive began after a seven-storey structure collapsed in Gachibowli.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation’s enforcement wing has demolished 185 unauthorised structures under construction across its limits to date. Serilingampally Zone accounted for 81 demolitions, the highest among CMC zones.
The CMC commissioner launched a special drive involving CMC enforcement teams on August 24, two days after an unauthorised seven-storey structure under construction collapsed (August 22), killing two workers on the spot at Anjaiah Nagar in Gachibowli.
Serilingampally topped CMC zones with 81 demolitions, followed by Quthbullapur with 64 and Kukatpally with 40.
In a press statement, CMC officials said teams were continuing field-level identification and enforcement across all zones. Identified cases were being pursued under prescribed procedures and applicable building regulations. Officials also said the teams would continue monitoring unauthorised constructions and taking enforcement action to ensure compliance with applicable rules.
