Sangareddy: Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar accused the Congress Party of cheating all sections of people as the government failed to keep the promises included in 13 declarations announced during the election campaign meetings. Speaking after participating in a protest programme organised at Sangareddy collectorate on Wednesday, the Sangareddy MLA said the Congress has ignored all sections of people after coming to power.
The leaders and cadres also blocked traffic on the busy road at Telangana Statue as part of the party’s statewide protest programmes organised to expose Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s failures, marking his 1,000 days in office. The BRS leaders also distributed “Congress Baaki Cards” to road users, roadside traders and people passing by.
The BRS MLA observed that bringing former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao back to power will only put an end to all the prevailing issues in the state. Following the call of BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, the BRS Party leaders organised similar protests in Medak, Siddipet and all the constituency headquarters across the erstwhile Medak district. The protests evoked a great response as a huge number of people participated.
