BRS Assembly Whip KP Vivekanand challenged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to release a white paper on the Congress government’s 1,000-day performance and hold a detailed debate in the Assembly, alleging failures in implementing promises and Six Guarantees.

Hyderabad: BRS Assembly Whip and Quthbullapur MLA KP Vivekanand on Tuesday challenged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to release a white paper on the Congress government’s performance during the forthcoming Assembly session and hold a detailed debate. He said the BRS was ready to expose the Congress government’s alleged misrule, corruption and exploitation before the people.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here, Vivekanand said Revanth Reddy had failed to implement the Six Guarantees even after 1,000 days, despite promising to do so within 100 days. He also referred to the 13 declarations and 420 promises made by the Congress during the election campaign. He alleged that the Chief Minister’s Office had issued statements highlighting achievements after the BRS announced its campaign on the government’s 1,000-day rule.
The BRS MLA termed the Congress government’s 1,000-day rule a rule of deception. He said the Chief Minister was making contradictory claims and misleading people with new lies every day. He accused Revanth Reddy of resorting to diversion politics and personal attacks on BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao whenever he was forced to answer questions on his government’s performance.
He said Chandrashekhar Rao would return to the public sphere whenever required and asserted that he was attending the Assembly in accordance with the rules. He ridiculed Revanth Reddy, who had failed as an MLA, MP and now as Chief Minister, for seeking the resignation of Chandrashekhar Rao, who succeeded in all his roles and goals.
