Hyderabad: Amit Sanghi has been re-elected president of the Telangana Rifle Association (TRA) at its 13th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) and elections held here on Monday for the 2026-2030 term.
The newly elected managing committee comprises:
President: Amit Sanghi
Senior Vice-President: Wasif Hasan Lateef
Vice-Presidents: Mohammed Sohailuddin Farooqui and Dr Mohammed Saleem Moosa
General Secretary: Jamalpuri Kiran
Treasurer: Dr Vamsidhar Nali
Joint Secretary: Mohd Mustafa Khan
Executive Committee Members: Bobbili Narsaiah, K Sravan Kumar, Mohammed Hassan Shareef, Aneesha Bansal, Mandapati Satya Rani, Nawab M Shafath Ali Khan and Mohammed Abdul Qadeer Khan.
“The newly elected managing committee will serve a four-year term from 2026 to 2030 and will continue to work towards strengthening sports shooting in Telangana,” according to a TRA media release.
“The committee will focus on promoting athletes and coaches, developing and improving shooting infrastructure, nurturing sporting talent and further advancing the interests of the shooting fraternity across the State,” the TRA said.
