Adilabad: Internal bickering comes to fore in Boath Congress unit

Adilabad: Internal bickering among ruling party leaders when the Boath Congress in-charge Ade Gajender took his followers to paty headquarters in Hydeabad to protest against DCC president Naresh Jadhav’s alleged discrimination, on Saturday.

Gajender gave a call to visit Gandhi Bhavan to lodge a complaint with top leadership of the party against the DCC president’s stance. He alleged that Naresh was not giving posts to mandal-level committees to leaders of his faction. He said that Naresh was setting aside those who worked hard for the growth of the Congress.

It was learnt that TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud gave appointment to Gajender in the afternoon. Gajender is likely to demand the leadership to remove Naresh from DCC president post or change mandal-committee president for neglecting him. He contested on the ticket of Boath Assembly segment in 2023 and ended up in the third spot with 32,197 votes.
