A tanker was struck by an unknown projectile off the coast of Oman on Tuesday, disabling its engine room, the UK Maritime Trade Operations reported.
The UKMTO said it received a report of an incident nine nautical miles northeast of Oman. The unnamed tanker’s captain confirmed that the vessel had been hit by an unknown projectile, which knocked out the engine room.
