Southern Railway clinched the 61st All India Railway Ball Badminton Championship, defeating South Coast Railway 2-0 in the final at Visakhapatnam. Integral Coach Factory, Chennai, secured third place, while Kalai Selvan and Rajesh of Southern Railway were recognised as standout performers.

Hyderabad: Southern Railway (SR) emerged champions in the 61st All India Railway Ball Badminton Championship defeating South Coast Railway 2-0 in the final at the Railway Ball Badminton Courts, Visakhapatnam, on Sunday.
Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, finished third.
Mr. Sandeep Mathur, General Manager, South Coast Railway, gave away the prizes in the presence of Dr. Pudi Hariprasad, President, South Coast Railway Sports Association (SCORSA), South Coast Railway, Mr. Lalit Bohra, Divisional Railway Manager, South Coast Railway, Visakhapatnam Division and President, SCORSA–Visakhapatnam Division, and Mr. M. Haranath, Sports Officer, SCORSA–Visakhapatnam Division.
Kalai Selvan was named ’Star Player’, while Rajesh of Southern Railway was adjudged ‘Best Player’.
