Hyderabad: Three people were arrested by the Task Force and Banjara Hills police for allegedly selling e-cigarettes and banned foreign cigarettes at a shop in Srinagar Colony on Wednesday.
Police seized 53 vapes, 10 liquids and 76 boxes of foreign cigarettes, altogether worth Rs 2 lakh.
The suspects were identified as Mohd Muneer, Abdul Rahman Meehraj and Mohd Eyas. The trio was operating the business under the name “Smokers.in.”
Police said the suspects allegedly procured cigarettes from Mumbai at lower prices and sold them in Hyderabad for higher profits.
