Hyderabad drug case: Three alleged peddlers arrested, 16 consumers detained

Cyberabad police arrested three alleged drug peddlers and detained 16 consumers in a Gachibowli drug case. Police seized 95.41 grams of MDMA and 50 grams of OG Kush worth Rs 16.4 lakh and traced the alleged supply chain across Telangana, Kerala and Bengaluru.

Hyderabad drug case: Three alleged peddlers arrested, 16 consumers detained

Hyderabad: The Gachibowli Police and Cyberabad Special Operations team arrested three alleged drug peddlers and detained 16 consumers in a drug case on Tuesday. Police seized 95.41 grams of MDMA and 50 grams of OG Kush worth Rs 16.4 lakh.

The suspects were identified as Mohd Razal Abdul Gafoor, Navina KD, both from Bengaluru, and K Yashwanth Sai Shanmukh from Hyderabad.


Police said Yashwanth was first arrested on August 11 near Vattinagulapally along with 16 consumers and, on enquiry, revealed he had procured the MDMA from Md Razal Abdul Gafoor of Kerala and Navina KD of Bengaluru.

Teams were formed to apprehend accused persons, and on August 18, Md Razal Abdul Gafoor was arrested at Thrissur, Kerala who revealed he gave 44.41 grams of MDMA to Koripella Yashwanth Sai Shanmukh, which was procured from Sam, a Nigerian national. Meanwhile, Navina KD was also arrested at Begur, Bengaluru, and on search of her residence, 51 grams of MDMA and 50 grams of OG Kush.
