The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force busted a racket involving the illegal sale of Mephentermine Sulphate injections, arresting three persons while one suspect remains absconding.

Hyderabad: The City Commissioner’s Task Force has busted an illegal network involved in the sale and peddling of Mephentermine Sulphate injections and apprehended three persons, while another suspect is absconding.

Acting on information, the task force team apprehended Mohammad Aejaz (23), a resident of Nawab Saheb Kunta in Falaknuma, and seized Mephentermine Sulphate injections and used syringes from his possession.


During the investigation, Aejaz reportedly stated that he had procured the injections from Mohammed Zuber. The police said Zuber procured the injections through online sources by placing orders, with the consignments delivered through third-party courier services.

According to police, Zuber purchased a pack containing 30 injections for around Rs. 5,000 and sold each injection for about Rs. 1,000, making substantial illegal profits.

The police also apprehended Mohammed Zuber (30) and Mohammed Saif Khan (20), while Shubham Rajput of Rajasthan, an identified suspect, is absconding.

The police seized 110 Mephentermine Sulphate vials, 25 syringes and three mobile phones all valued at around Rs. 6 lakh from them.
