A vessel has been struck by an unknown projectile in the Strait of Hormuz, according to a Saturday update by the UK Maritime Trade Organisation (UKMTO).
The ship, described as a Bulk Carrier, was reported struck in its hull on Friday evening at around 20:00 UTC (20:00 GMT).
No casualties were reported among the crew, the report said.
