Hyderabad: Manam Chocolate has opened a new Chocolate Beverage Bar at its Manam Chocolate Karkhana in Banjara Hills, offering customers a range of craft chocolate-based hot, cold, plant-based beverages and shakes.

Located within the Karkhana, the 100-sq-ft beverage bar features an L-shaped counter designed to allow customers to interact with chocolate beverage baristas and watch their drinks being prepared.

The concept allows customers to create their own beverage by choosing from 14 chocolate couvertures, ranging from white and caramelised white chocolate to 100 per cent dark chocolate. Customers can then select whether they want their beverage hot or cold and choose from milk and alternate milk options. The beverages are prepared fresh and orders are generally ready in under 10 minutes.

The new bar offers more than 24 beverages across five categories, including hot signature beverages, cold drinks, shakes and plant-based options. The menu includes Hazelnut Praline Latte, Cinnamon Spiced Chocolate, Chilli Milk Chocolate, Iced Tiramisu Latte, Date Iced Dark Chocolate and Chocolate Chunk Cookie Shake.

The plant-based range includes Blueberry Oat Iced Chocolate and Chakkarakeli Banana Iced Chocolate, while other options include Maple Pecan Hot Chocolate. The bar also offers shakes such as Raspberry Brownie Fudge Shake and Italian Hazelnut Shake.

The beverages use Indian cacao sourced primarily from the West Godavari region of Andhra Pradesh, along with couvertures made from cacao originating in Kerala.

Ruby Islam, Head of Product and Innovation at Manam Chocolate, said the beverage bar was aimed at presenting Indian craft chocolate as a layered flavour experience and highlighting its versatility.

Founder Chaitanya Muppala said the beverage bar was an extension of Manam Chocolate’s approach of treating chocolate as an ingredient, craft and story of origin.

The beverage bar is located at Manam Chocolate Karkhana in Banjara Hills. It is open from 10 am to 11.30 pm on all days. Deliveries are available through Swiggy and Zomato.

The price for two is Rs 1,200, including two beverages and a pastry or savoury item to share.
