Rains returned to Hyderabad on Thursday afternoon after a brief break, with central parts of the city receiving relatively heavy rainfall. The weather department forecast light to moderate rain and thundershowers at isolated places, with a yellow warning for several districts.

Hyderabad: After a brief interregnum, rains returned to lash parts of the city and suburbs on Thursday afternoon.
The central parts of Hyderabad received comparatively heavy rains while some parts had spells of drizzle. After a sunny morning, the day turned cloudy by afternoon, and soon the rains took over, leaving the commuters stranded in different parts of the city.
The weather department had issued a bulletin on light to moderate rain or thundershowers occurring at isolated places in GHMC. The yellow warning, apart from Hyderabad, was also extended to adjoining Rangareddy district and several other districts.
A similar weather condition is forecast to be experienced in different parts of Telangana on Thursday too.
