Two suspects linked to the sensational Afzalgunj shooting at Roshan Travels and the Bidar ATM robbery have been arrested in Bihar by Karnataka police. The duo, accused of looting Rs 93 lakh and killing a security guard, was traced and brought to Karnataka for further investigation.

Hyderabad: Nearly 18 months after the sensational Afzalgunj shooting at Roshan Travels, two key suspects allegedly involved in the case have been reportedly arrested in Bihar by the Karnataka police.
As per information available, the suspects, identified as Manish Kushwaha and his associate Amit Kumar, were traced to Bihar and taken into custody on Wednesday. The Bidar police are learnt to have brought them to Karnataka for further investigation.
The duo was allegedly involved in the January 16, 2025, Bidar ATM cash robbery, in which Rs 93 lakh was looted and an ATM security guard, Giri Venkatesh, was shot dead. Another guard, Shivakumar, was injured.
Later the same day, the suspects reached Hyderabad and went to Roshan Travels in Afzalgunj to book tickets to Raipur. When travel agency employee Mohammed Jahangir questioned them after noticing bundles of cash in their luggage, one of the suspects allegedly opened fire, injuring him.
The Hyderabad Police had been tracking the suspects across multiple States, with officials earlier suspecting that they had fled towards Nepal.
