Hyderabad: The Andhra Kabaddi Association (AKA) organized the Technical Officials Training Course and Examination 2026 at Avanigadda with the approval of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI), the apex governing body for Kabaddi in the country, recognized by the Indian Olympic Association and the Government of India.
For conducting the programme, Mr. K. Jagadeshwar Yadav of Hyderabad, former General Secretary and Director, Technical Committee, AKFI, and Chairman of the recently constituted Rules and Regulations Framing Committee of AKFI, along with Sri V. Srinu of Telangana State, were nominated by AKFI as Trainers.
More than 90 technical officials from various districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana enrolled and participated in the training programme.
The training sessions covered the latest rules, regulations and technical aspects of Kabaddi, with the objective of enhancing the knowledge, competence and officiating standards of Technical Officials.
The training programme was formally inaugurated in the presence of the AKFI-nominated Trainers Messrs. K. Jagadeshwar Yadav, V. Srinu.
The inaugural session was attended by Mr. Srikanth Yalamanchili, General Secretary, Mr. N. Arjuna Rao, Working President, and Mr.i K.V. Nancharaiah, Senior Joint Secretary, Andhra Kabaddi Association, along with the participants and members of the Association.
The Andhra Kabaddi Association Executive Committee Members and all the participants felicitated Jagadeshwar Yadav and V. Srinu in recognition of their valuable services and contribution towards the training and development of Technical Officials.
Mr. B. Murali Kumar, Chairman, Referee Board, and Mr. P. Ravindra Babu, Convener, Referee Board, Andhra Kabaddi Association, coordinated the inaugural and closing ceremonies and extended their support for the successful conduct of the programme.
The results of the examination will be declared by the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) at a later date.
The Andhra Kabaddi Association expressed its gratitude to AKFI, the Trainers, participating Technical Officials, District Associations and all those who extended their cooperation for the successful completion of the programme.
