Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei has appointed Mohammad Baqer Zolqadr as his political adviser.
In a decree issued on Sunday, Ayatollah Khamenei said the appointment was made given Zolqadr’s “valuable” experience.
The Leader expressed hope that Zolqadr would successfully carry out his new responsibilities and contribute to advancing the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
Zolqadr, a veteran military commander, was appointed by President Masoud Pezeshkian as secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council in March with the endorsement of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
