Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Ramesh has ordered the closure of liquor outlets from 10 am to 10 pm on August 9 in connection with the Bonalu festival. Bars attached to star hotels and registered clubs have been exempted from the order.

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Ramesh on Friday issued an order directing the closure of liquor outlets in connection with the Bonalu festival from 10 am to 10 pm on August 9.
The Commissioner said wine shops, toddy shops and bars attached to restaurants would remain closed in Kukatpally, Allapur, Raidurgam, Jeedimetla, Medchal and Chandanagar. However, bars attached to star hotels and registered clubs have been exempted from the closure order.
