The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions, road closures, diversions and parking arrangements for the Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu celebrations in Secunderabad from August 2 to 4. Motorists have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions and diversions for the Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu in Secunderabad.
The festival will be held from August 2 to August 4, with traffic curbs coming into effect from 12 am on August 2 and continuing until 3 am on August 4, or until the conclusion of the festivities.
A 2 km around the temple is expected to witness road closures and diversions.
Traffic authorities said traffic congestion is expected at Karbala Maidan, Ranigunj, Old PS Ramgopalpet, Paradise, CTO Junction, Plaza, SBI Crossroads, YMCA Crossroads, St. John’s Rotary, Sangeet Crossroads, Patny, Park Lane, Bata, Ghasmandi, Bible House, Minister’s Road and Rasoolpura.
Also, roads leading to the temple from Tobacco Bazar and Hamali Statue, Subhash Road between Bata Crossroads and Rocha Bazar, Road from Hill Street via Adavaiah Crossroads to the temple will be closed.
Major traffic diversions:
*Vehicles from SBI Crossroads and Paradise towards Tank Bund will be diverted at Patny via Minister Road, Clock Tower, Sangeeth, Chilkalguda and Kavadiguda.
*Traffic from Paradise towards Bible House will be diverted at Patny towards SBI Crossroads or Clock Tower.
*Vehicles heading towards Secunderabad Railway Station from Bible House will be diverted via Sajjanlal Street or Hill Street.
*Heavy vehicles from Bible House and Children’s Park will be diverted through Karbala and Ranigunj.
*RTC buses from Karbala to Secunderabad Railway Station will operate via Minister Road, Rasoolpura, PNT Flyover, CTO, SBI Crossroads, YMCA, St. John’s Rotary and Sangeeth.
*Vehicles from CTO towards MG Road will be diverted at Paradise via Sindhi Colony and Minister Road.
