HMWSSB announces 24-hour water supply disruption in parts of Hyderabad

HMWSSB has announced a 24-hour disruption in water supply from July 27 to 28 due to junction works at the Uppal flyover under the Krishna Water Supply Project. Several localities across Hyderabad are expected to be affected during the maintenance work

HMWSSB announces 24-hour water supply disruption in parts of Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Water line junction works being undertaken by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) at the Uppal flyover will disrupt water supply in certain parts of Hyderabad.

Due to junction works on the Krishna Water Supply Project Phase-II Ring Main-2, water supply will be disrupted for 24 hours from 10 am on July 27 to 10 am on July 28, according to a press release issued by the HMWSSB on Saturday.


The areas likely to be affected include Fatehnagar, Hasmathpet, Prakash Nagar, Nacharam, HMT Nagar, Beerappagadda, Habsiguda, Ramanthapur, Venkata Reddy Nagar, Uppal, Mekalamandi, Bholakpur (partially), Padmarao Nagar, Bansilalpet, Buddha Nagar, Tarnaka (partially), Sitaphalmandi, Mettuguda, Lalapet (partially), North Lallaguda, Addagutta, Balanagar, South Central Railway, MES and Secunderabad Cantonment Board.

Residents in the affected localities have been urged to use water carefully during the disruption.
