Bellampalli MJPRS food poisoning: BC Dal approaches TSHRC demanding suspension of negligent officials

Mancherial: BC Dal state president Dundra Kumaraswamy demanded that the government suspend officials responsible for food poisoning that occurred at MJPRS in Bellampalli. He submitted a complaint with the Telangana State Human Rights Commission (TSHRC) in Hyderabad on Friday seeking action against officials.

He opined that the food poisoning showed the failure of the officials in maintaining the and alleged that the repeated occurrence of such instances indicated negligence of the officials. He said despite enquiries being ordered no strict action was being taken against officials found responsible. He demanded that the government immediately suspend the officials and staff responsible.


He urged the government to conduct special inspections in government educational institutions across the state to comprehensive audit on food safety, hygiene and drinking water to prevent recurrence of the food poisoning at hostels.
