Hyderabad: The Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) Telangana on Wednesday demanded the State government release the tuition fee reimbursement and scholarship dues, and restore their regular implementation.
Addressing the media here, SIO Telangana president, Mohd. Faraz Ahmed said that scholarships are a constitutional entitlement, not a favour, and urged the government to immediately release all pending dues, restore the RTF scheme, and ensure that no deserving student is deprived of education due to financial constraints.
The SIO Telangana decided to meet Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to press for their demands. If the government fails to address the issue and release the pending scholarships, a movement will be launched, it added.
