Overcast weather and intermittent rain continued across Hyderabad and Telangana over the past 24 hours. Nandigam in Rangareddy recorded the highest rainfall of 59.2 mm, while temperatures remained moderate, with Hyderabad’s maximum reaching 30.8 degrees Celsius.

Hyderabad: Overcast conditions coupled with sporadic short spells of light to moderate showers have continued in Hyderabad and districts over the past 24 hours.
The highest rainfall of 59.2 mm was recorded at Nandigam, Rangareddy district, between 8.30 am Tuesday and 8.30 am Wednesday, the daily weather report from TSDPS on Wednesday said.
Across Telangana, the average cumulative rainfall (in one day) throughout Telangana was 9.9 mm, while the highest maximum temperature of 33.6 degree Celsius was recorded at Alangapuram, Suryapet. In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature of 30.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Vittalvadi.
In the Greater Hyderabad region, the highest rainfall of 15 mm was recorded at Shankarpalle in Rangareddy district. The entire day’s average rainfall in the last 24-hours was 6.3 mm, the TSDPS data indicated.
Some of the other regions in Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts, which received highest rainfall (in mm) include Shaikpet (14.8), Mehdipatnam Navodaya Community Hall, Asifnagar (13.3), CMTC building in Banjara Hills (13 mm), Mailardevpally, Rajendranagar (12.5 mm) and Khajaguda, Serilingampally (12).
