Hyderabad traffic police have announced diversions and parking arrangements for the Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanotsavam and Rathotsavam. Several routes near the temple will be restricted on Tuesday and Wednesday, with motorists advised to use alternate roads and designated parking areas.

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad traffic police have announced traffic diversions and restrictions in connection with the Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanotsavam and Rathotsavam scheduled to be held at the Yellamma Devasthanam in Balkampet on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Motorists have been advised to avoid roads leading to the temple and use alternative routes during the two-day event.
Vehicles travelling from Green Lands, Matha Temple and Satyam Theatre towards Balkampet Yellamma Temple, Fateh Nagar flyover and Fateh Nagar will be diverted at the SR Nagar T-junction via SR Nagar Community Hall, Abhilasha Towers, BK Guda Crossroads and Sriram Nagar Crossroads towards Sanath Nagar and Fateh Nagar.
Vehicles coming from the Fateh Nagar flyover towards Balkampet Temple will not be allowed and will instead be diverted at the New Bridge near Hyderabad Kitchen Mart through the railway underbridge towards Kattamaisamma Temple and Begumpet.
Similarly, traffic from Green Lands, Bakul Apartments and Food World heading towards Balkampet will be diverted at Food World Crossroads via Sonabai Temple, Satyam Theatre, Maitrivanam and the SR Nagar T-junction.
Motorists travelling from Begumpet and Kattamaisamma Temple towards Balkampet Temple will also be diverted through the Begumpet flyover, Matha Temple, Satyam Theatre, and Maitrivanam towards Green Lands. In addition, all by-lanes and link roads between the SR Nagar T-junction and Fateh Nagar will remain closed during the event.
Parking facilities for devotees have been arranged at the R&B Office, GHMC Ground, roadside parking near Padma Shree Apartments on the DK Road towards Nature Cure Hospital, Fateh Nagar underbridge, Nature Cure Hospital and the GHMC Playground at Sanath Nagar.
