The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says it has destroyed a US military radar installation at Ali Al Salem Air Base and struck a troop assembly area at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait during the 18th wave of Operation Nasr 2.
In a statement on Saturday, the IRGC said its Ground Force targeted “a concentration point of invading forces” at the US Army’s logistical support center in Camp Arifjan, noting that several personnel were killed.
It added that a drone strike destroyed the radar system at Ali Al Salem Air Base.
The statement also said Iranian forces struck a weapons maintenance hangar and a drone shelter, adding that “retaliatory operations by the Ground Force will continue.”
The IRGC slammed the US for “resuming a war it had never truly ended” while negotiations were underway, adding that Washington escalated the conflict after concluding that Iran’s armed forces had become stronger since the beginning of hostilities.
Stating that US forces had shifted from direct military confrontation to attacks on civilian infrastructure, the IRGC added that the United States targeted “hospitals, bridges, railways, airports, ports, telecommunications centers, and civilians” in an attempt to conceal its battlefield failures.
The statement said that, because “no international body exists to stop the US military’s atrocities,” Iran had no choice but to respond in kind, citing the Quranic principle, “Whoever transgresses against you, respond against him in the same measure as he transgressed against you.”
The IRGC also warned countries hosting US forces that have allowed their territory to be used for attacks against Iran to “be prepared for a corresponding response” and urged them to activate civil defense measures to protect civilians and keep them away from potential military targets.
The statement said Iran had “for the time being” limited its response to military targets “to give the enemy an opportunity to change its unlawful approach.”
In another statement, the IRGC said its navy launched coordinated drone and missile strikes in response to US attacks the previous night.
According to the statement, Iranian forces struck the US fleet’s fuel support pier at Al Ahmadi Port in Kuwait, a site where US military aircraft were stationed at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain, and an intelligence data center in Bahrain identified as Batelco.
The IRGC also said its naval forces destroyed a US signaling and communications center in Kuwait.
The statement added that the operations were carried out while the IRGC Navy maintained “full control of the Strait of Hormuz.”
The United States has perpetrated numerous violations against Iranian territory since April 7, when US President Donald Trump announced a unilateral ceasefire in the latest bout of wholesale American-Israeli aggression targeting the Islamic Republic.
The violations continued even after Washington and Tehran signed a Pakistan-mediated memorandum of understanding last month, whose first clause clearly mandates cessation of aggression on all fronts.
The United States escalated tensions last week after Iran’s Navy foiled illegal vessel movements through the Strait of Hormuz that violated the Islamabad MoU.
