Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G Srijana reviewed the progress of flyover and underpass works at IIIT Junction and Khajaguda Junction, directing officials to complete the projects as scheduled. The two major infrastructure projects are targeted for completion in 2027

Hyderabad: The works on flyovers and underpasses at IIIT Junction and Khajaguda Junction are to be completed as scheduled by 2027, Commissioner of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) G Srijana said during a visit to the project sites along with engineering wing officials.
At IIIT Junction, she inspected the multi-level grade separator at the intersection connecting Gachibowli, Lingampally, Wipro Junction and Kondapur Road. A four-lane bi-directional flyover from ISB Road to DLF Road, a three-lane unidirectional flyover from DLF Road to Lingampally, a three-lane unidirectional flyover from ISB Road to Gachibowli, and a six-lane bi-directional underpass from Gachibowli to Lingampally, totalling 3.39 km, are being constructed and are targeted for completion by May 2027.

The Commissioner also visited the flyover and underpass project at Khajaguda Junction, where works are under way on a three-lane unidirectional flyover from Nanakramguda to Shaikpet and a three-lane unidirectional underpass from Shaikpet to Gachibowli. The total length is 1.625 km, with completion targeted for April 2027.
Officials explained the progress of the works, including foundation works, pier construction, pier cap works and other civil works being carried out simultaneously across all four corridors.
