Hyderabad: Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports and Labour and Employment, launched the official anthem of the BWF World Championships 2026 in the presence of Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, President of the Badminton Association of India and Chief Minister of Assam, along with Sanjay Mishra, General Secretary of the Badminton Association of India.
The official anthem has been created to build excitement ahead of the prestigious championships. In a showcase of national talent, the track features all 16 Indian players who will compete on the global stage. Artist Spectra is the voice behind the anthem, drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of New Delhi and the hard-hitting sound of India’s modern street rap culture to connect badminton enthusiasts with the next generation of Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha sports fans.
Youthful, colourful and contemporary, the anthem reflects the growing confidence and fearless attitude of Indian badminton. Over the next month, the track is set to become the soundtrack for the tournament, featuring across digital campaigns, television broadcasts and interactive fan engagement activities, while also being played at the venue to energise audiences across the country.
