Two men were killed after an unidentified vehicle crashed into a parked truck on the Outer Ring Road near Keesara in Hyderabad early on Friday. Police have launched an investigation and are working to identify the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run accident

Hyderabad: In a hit-and-run incident, two persons were killed on the spot after an unidentified vehicle rammed into a parked Ashok Leyland truck on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Keesara on the city’s outskirts early on Friday.
According to police, the truck, which was transporting sheep from Keesara towards Ghatkesar, had been parked on the roadside near Rampally after the driver is believed to have stopped to take some rest. While the occupants were asleep, an unidentified speeding vehicle crashed into the rear of the truck with great force.
The impact claimed the lives of Ramulu (60) and Rasheed (40) on the spot. Both victims were identified as residents of Medak district.
On receiving information, Keesara police reached the spot and took up the investigation.
Efforts are on to identify the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run accident.
