A pregnant woman delivered her baby beside a hospital bed at the Government MCH Centre in Kothagudem after allegedly not receiving timely assistance. The newborn sustained injuries in the fall, prompting protests by family members, while doctors denied negligence.

Siddipet: A physically challenged woman, Rudraram Srilalitha (36), slipped into a sump and drowned at her residence in Pamulaparthi village of Markook mandal on Thursday.
She was reportedly trying to connect a water pipe near the sump when she accidentally slipped into it and drowned. Her parents, who had gone to the fields, returned home to find her dead in the sump. The police registered a case.
