Sangareddy: In a fit of rage, a car driver ran over another person following an argument with the latter and his son in Kandi mandal headquarters on Tuesday night. The man, who sustained serious head injuries, died while he was being shifted to the government hospital in Sangareddy for treatment.
According to Sangareddy Rural police, Kashipuram Anjaneyulu (43) was proceeding to his residence at 11.30 pm on Tuesday when he found Kashipuram Chakri standing on the road at Ambedkar Colony.
Anjaneyulu picked up an argument with Chakri when Chakri’s father Ramesh (47) came to his rescue. As the tension escalated between them, Anjaneyulu ran his car over Ramesh, causing grievous injuries. The rural police took the accused into custody in the early hours of Wednesday. The probe was on.
