Telangana CEO directs BLOs to digitise SIR forms promptly

Hyderabad: With the digitisation of enumeration forms, as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, moving at a sluggish pace, Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C Sudharshan Reddy on Saturday directed the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to digitise the forms immediately after collecting them from voters.

The CEO, along with Medchal-Malkajgiri District Collector Manu Choudary, inspected the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process at the Balaji Nagar Ward Office under the Kukatpally Assembly constituency and enquired whether BLOs were distributing the forms smoothly and collecting the filled-up forms from voters.

Sudharshan Reddy directed officials to carry out the SIR process in a transparent and expeditious manner. He enquired about the digitisation of the forms and instructed the operators to carry out the process carefully.

The CEO also inspected the uploading of forms and the collection of filled-up forms by BLOs in apartment complexes in the same area. Later, he interacted with voters and clarified their doubts.
