According to Mehr News Agency, citing Al-Mayadeen Network, Sheikh Naeem Qassem stated in a speech that coincided with the funeral of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq: “Imam Khamenei was unique in his era and an exceptional leader whose likes are very few in history.”
He emphasized: “Imam Khamenei was an experienced politician who understood the different aspects of issues on a global level.”
The Hezbollah Secretary General also said that from the time he was elected as the Hezbollah’s Secretary General until the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei, no request had ever been made to Hezbollah by him.
He added: “From the time I became the party’s Secretary General until his martyrdom, the Imam Leader never asked us for anything.”
Sheikh Qassem continued: “Martyr Seyyed Ali Khamenei always told those who were in contact with us: Ask them what they want and give them what they ask for.”
