SCO pushes for new dollar-free financial order

Officials and experts at a Beijing forum are pushing for a new financial order that would help Shanghai Cooperation Organization members trade and settle accounts without relying on the dollar.

The discussions come as Iran and other sanctioned countries seek stronger economic ties and ways to resist unilateral pressure.
