Ahmad, heading a delegation, arrived in the Iranian capital to take part in the funeral rites for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who was assassinated in the February 28 U.S.-Israeli attack.
The two speakers held talks on the sidelines of the ceremonies, which have drawn foreign dignitaries and delegations from across Asia, the Middle East and beyond.
No further details of the meeting were immediately released.
