Hyderabad: Davis Cupper and Asian Games medallist J Vishnu Vardhan’s Sportslet’s first physical store, along with BadmintonOutlet.in, was inaugurated at Film Nagar in Jubilee Hills on Wednesday.
Former All England champion P Gopichand was the chief guest, while Afroze Khan, co-founder of Sportslet, was also present along with co-founder Vishnu Vardhan.
BadmintonOutlet.in is Sportslet’s fifth sport-specific online store, joining TennisOutlet, PadelOutlet, PickleballOutlet and SquashOutlet.
Vishnu Vardhan said: “Our journey has been great in serving athletes across India and now, with our new Sportslet store as well as the launch of BadmintonOutlet, we aim to provide greater value and access to budding and current athletes.”
The company operates specialised stores, including TennisOutlet, PadelOutlet, PickleballOutlet, SquashOutlet and now BadmintonOutlet.in, and is the market leader in racquet sports.
