Harish Rao slams arrest of job aspirants, demands fresh police recruitment notification

Harish Rao slams arrest of job aspirants, demands fresh police recruitment notification

Hyderabad: BRS Legislature Party deputy leader T Harish Rao on Monday condemned the arrest of unemployed youth protesting at the Police Recruitment Board over their demands for a fresh job notification.

Alleging that the crackdown was proof of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s dictatorial rule, he accused the government of betraying job aspirants without implementing its promise to fill two lakh government jobs.


He demanded the immediate release of the arrested protesters and that the Congress government issue a recruitment notification for 20,000 police vacancies as announced earlier.
