Chidvilash Sai Surapaneni won the A2H Open Rapid Prize Money Chess Tournament after finishing level on five points with Srujan Keerthan Solleti but securing the title on a superior tie-break score. Yashvi Jain finished third in the competition

Chidvilash Sai wins A2H Open Rapid Prize Money Chess Tournament

Hyderabad: FIDE-rated players Chidvilash Sai Surapaneni and Srujan Keerthan Solleti finished first and second, respectively, in the A2H Open Rapid Prize Money Chess Tournament held here.

Both scored five points each, but Sai was declared the winner by virtue of a better tie-break score.


Final placings: 1. S Chidvilash Sai, 2. S Srujan Keerthan, 3. Yashvi Jain, 4. Rishi Pallagani, 5. Kandi Santosh Sai Karthik, 6. P Hariram Saikrishna, 7. DSSU Sathwik, 8. Kumaran Charan, 9. Nithik Reddy Bhavanam and 10. Moate Advik Reddy.
