Hyderabad: Nalgonda Speed Strikers outclassed Nizam Royals 72-55 in the under-15 category of the Telangana Junior Basketball League at the Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy Indoor Stadium (Yousufguda) here on Friday.
In the under-18 boys category, Warangal Stallions emerged victorious over Ranga Reddy Raptors in a high-scoring thriller, winning 117-104.
In the Under-18 Girls category, Ranga Reddy Raptors defeated Nalgonda Speed Strikers 64-48 after maintaining their dominance throughout the contest.
The final match of the evening kept spectators on the edge of their seats as Nalgonda Speed Strikers edged past Hyderabad Hurricanes by a solitary point, registering a thrilling 80-79 victory in the Under-18 Boys category.
Among the standout individual performers after two games, Krish Chawda leads the Under-15 Boys category with an impressive 102 points, making him the tournament’s highest scorer so far. In the Under-18 Boys category, Harsha has accumulated 69 points in two games. Aaradhya Upreti tops the Under-15 Girls division with 48 points, while Bhavana Kosaraju leads the Under-18 Girls category with 47 points after two matches, reflecting consistent performances across all four divisions.
