Property dispute suspected behind murder of four in Nalgonda

Nalgonda: The mystery surrounding the discovery of four decomposed bodies in a house in Telangana Colony last Friday has been solved, with police suspecting the involvement of a deceased woman’s daughter and son-in-law in the crime.

The deceased were identified as Mohd Sultan, his wife Haseena, Muzzamil and Afraza. All four were allegedly murdered by unidentified assailants at their residence.

Police suspect a property dispute to be the motive behind the killings. According to reports, eight persons, including Haseena’s daughter and son-in-law, have been taken into custody in connection with the case.

Investigations revealed that Haseena had been married earlier and had a daughter from her first marriage. She reportedly owned property worth around Rs. 1 crore. Police found that the daughter had learnt of Haseena’s plans to share the property with Sultan, Muzzamil and Afraza.

Allegedly angered by the proposed division of assets, the daughter and her husband are suspected to have hired six persons from the Old City area of Hyderabad to eliminate the family, according to reports. Further investigation is underway.
