AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi inaugurated Rs 3.27 crore worth of development works in Hyderabad’s Old City. As part of his outreach programme, he is touring municipal divisions and interacting with voters ahead of upcoming municipal elections expected in October.

HYDERABAD: All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen, floor leader and Chandrayangutta MLA, Akbaruddin Owaisi, on Wednesday inaugurated road works valued at Rs 3.27 crores in the Jangammet division in the Old City.
Akbaruddin Owaisi, a six-time MLA from Chandrayangutta assembly constituency, is visiting all the municipal divisions in his constituency and meeting the voters as part of his biennial visit to various localities in his constituency. So far, he had visited around five municipal divisions in his constituency and inaugurated works valued at several crores of rupees.
The works pertain to dedicated water supply lines, drainage lines, storm water drain lines, CC Roads, and other developmental works.
The elections to the three municipalities in the city are expected to be held in October. The AIMIM party plans to field a high number of candidates in the Greater Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Malkajgiri municipal corporations in the coming elections.
