Hyderabad: A private bus caught fire near Haj House in Nampally on Tuesday morning, causing a temporary traffic slowdown on the busy stretch.
However, quick action by the Fire Department prevented the incident from escalating.
According to the State Fire Control Department, an emergency call regarding the fire was received at 9 am. Following the alert, a team of firefighters rushed to the spot and took up firefighting operations.
The blaze was brought under control within a short time, preventing it from spreading to nearby vehicles or structures.
Traffic movement in the area was affected for some time as emergency personnel carried out firefighting and safety measures.
