Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police are awaiting the autopsy report of the two girls, Bhuvaneshwari and her younger sibling Sandhya, who died reportedly due to food poisoning early this week.
The two siblings, who were residents of Narayanguda, had consumed food including mangoes on Sunday and later developed health issues. They were admitted to a local hospital by their parents, and during treatment, Bhuvaneshwari passed away on Monday while the younger girl, Sandhya, died on Tuesday.
It was reported that on Sunday the girls picked up a few mangoes found near their house and had consumed them. Later, in the evening, they fell ill and started vomiting and suffered stomach problems. The Narayanguda police registered a case and started an investigation.
