WAMS 2026 begins at BVRIT with pre-conference workshop

Medak: The Wireless, Antennas and Microwave Symposium (WAMS-2026), hosted by BV Raju Institute of Technology (BVRIT), Narsapur, commenced on Tuesday with a pre-conference workshop and IEEE Distinguished Lecturer Talks. The fifth symposium of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is scheduled to be held from June 10 to 13.

The pre-conference workshop witnessed participation from internationally acclaimed scientists, researchers, academicians and industry experts from across the globe, a press release claimed.


Speaking on the occasion, Principal of BVRIT Dr Sanjay Dubey said it was a matter of great pride that globally renowned experts in antenna and wireless technologies had visited the campus to participate in the WAMS 2026 pre-conference workshop. He said such interactions with experts would provide invaluable exposure to BVRIT students and faculty.

Director of BVRIT Dr K Lakshmi Prasad said that the event would offer a unique opportunity for students, faculty members and young engineers to gain first-hand knowledge of the latest technological advancements and interact with leading experts in the field.

The symposium will serve as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, collaborative research discussions and technological innovation in the fields of wireless communications, antennas and microwave engineering.
