Ex-YSRCP MLA Bolla Brahma Naidu detained in Gandipet land encroachment case

Hyderabad: Former Vinukonda MLA and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Bolla Brahma Naidu was reportedly detained by the Cyberabad Police in connection with an alleged attempt to encroach upon government land in Gandipet.

According to information available, police had the former legislator in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, as part of an ongoing investigation into a land fraud case.


The Narsingi police allege that Naidu along with others had attempted to claim ownership of government land using forged documents and fabricated government orders (GOs).

According to investigators, the alleged conspiracy involved creating fake records to facilitate the illegal transfer and sale of valuable government property.

The case was registered following complaints from revenue officials, who detected discrepancies in land ownership documents.

The police are examining the role of multiple individuals suspected of being involved in the preparation and use of forged records.
